I had the EGR cooler replaced and then this problem started. They checked out the egr and that is ok. Two Shops said its a wastegasket problem and then I was told that you have to buy the whole piece since its not sold separately.

There is a place called Turbo Resource I used to deal with when I was with a Detroit engine rebuilder. You can find them here:http://www.turboresource.com/
Also, in Illinois there is: R & S Distributing 101 Industrial Avenue Minooka , IL . 60447
Phone: 800-292-0414
Used to deal with both at one time or another, especially when we were rebuilding 6V92's and 8V71's (you old timers know what i am talking about )

Update: Checked around from east coast to west coast. Trucks that have EGR valves, their turbos run around 2700-2800 OEM . For someone to rebuild this, I was given a 2.5 weeks to 1.5 month wait.
So in end, 36XX for a new turbo installed.
Oh this feckin EGR.......Cost me 59xx.00 this month. -
Ouh.... Here in ex-USSR there are workshops rebuilding turbos in a week ore less. Some do exchange.

Are used egr turbos available, or do the rebuilders buy them up? I mean at truck wrecking yards.
