Hey guys this morning i went to go pickup a load in Wisconsin and noticed that my truck (03 T800 c15 MBN, effingham Diesel doctor flashed 6nz 550 1850 file) started to smoke like a freight train. I changed the oil Saturday and polished the breathers and while i was there i decided to blow the air filters. Im on my way to deliver to TN and ill be heading back up to chicago tomorrow morning so ill check things closer but im thinking an injector might be getting tired after all the engine has 1037433 all internals are stock. I have 32K on the trailer and getting a bit over 30 lbs of boost truck seems to smoke when i accelerate slowly but maybe its just my crazyness. Anyway i talked to the cat parts guy and he told me something about my bridge engine having different injectors than a 6nz or earlier 3406e. A friend of my brothers recently had to replace injectors so he bought reman 6nz injectors but ended up going with pdi turbo and 58's so he offered to sell me the 6nz for $500 and change the starter on his Audi but what id like to know is if my engine is compatible with the 6nz injectors or do i have to change the cam also. Thanks everyone i appreciate all your help

The 6NZ injectors will work without any changes to the engine

Thank You Mr Murray :biggrin_255: this weekend ill get started on tearing the entire front end of that audi to change the starter then so i could get those injectors. Do you think the cam might be a good idea to purchase off my brothers friend because he also has a 6NZ cam? or should i just wait til i do the engine and throw in the cam you told me about so it all works well with that 7cz file you told me about. Remember the oil problem that the other truck was doing turned out to be a cracked engine brake oil was squirting right on the middle and the breather was sucking it right out :biggrin_25510:. Thanks again for your help i greatly appreciate it
