You are having a problem with the purge valve continuing to dump air, and loosing air pressure. There are check valves in the system coming out of the wet tank going into the primary and secondary, having both fail, that I have never seen.
The continual purging of the air dryer can be cause because the exhaust port is plugged not allowing it to load the compressor. To test the system, drain the wet tank, if the system drains then the check valves are bad.
I test the system with an adapter into the compressor discharge hose, and use shop air that way you can listen to the system going threw the different cycles. until it purges the dryer, then you have to shut off the air as it will just dump out the purge valve.
Diagnosing by the ripping and tearing method never works, and you have replaced most every part so far.

hey guys,my computer has been down and this is the first time i've been able to borrow a computer to check up on stuff. I'm still having the issues with the air system, but it isn't as bad as before(it works properly about 40% of the time).
The purge valve is not closing right away like it's supposed to due to back pressure in the system. A couple of times it kept purging long enough that I was able to get under the truck and I pushed up on the purge valve and got it to close. I had a guy tell me to remove the purge valve assembly and check to see if the bolt that runs up through the center is tight, but I'm going to wait until this weekend to try that. I did remove the spacer between the compressor and govenor and it was clean inside. I also checked the exhaust port on the govenor and it was clean too. I drained the wet tank and it doesn't drain the entire system, so the check valve for that must be good.
The braided lines going from the compressor to dryer are good. My truck has a two piece set up with a stainless braided hose first and a cotton braided hose the rest of the way. The cotton braided hose was a foot and a half too long and was kinked up underneath the truck so I had my dealer make me a new shorter hose out of the braided stainless so the underside of the truck is a little cleaner. I also removed both the lines coming from the govenor and checked them over really good and found nothing wrong with either.
I got a new computer coming to replace my 11yr old outdated/broke one, so when I get that up and running I'll check back in.

    Heavyd Thanks this.
