Got a Mack Titan E7-427 that is putting coolant into the fuel. Disconnected the coolant lines to the fuel heater, but coolant is still getting into the fuel. Where else might it be getting there from? It is losing about a gallon of coolant a day. Thanks in advance.

Im not trying to sound sarcastic at all so please don't get offended but how are you sure that the coolant is getting into the fuel?
It's been a while since I pulled apart an E7 but Im pretty sure the injectors go through a coolant passage so It might just be an injector or o-rings.

I am not sure of Mack, but most engines have coolant cooled injector cups. When they leak you will get coolant into the fuel.

Yes I am sure, anti-freeze in the separator. I'm not sure either about the injector passing thru a coolant passage. I've yet to have one of these apart. The fuel passes thru the ECU cooling plate, is there coolant there as well? I haven't looked into it that far yet. Thanks.

    Based on what you wrote.....
    IMO .....
Most likely the culprit is the injector o-rin(s).
Bad injector cups would cause other problems.
No coolant near ECM....the fuel is cooling ECM.

Did you ever find the remedy for this?
