    Hello again everyone.

1999 Western Star 3406E. Starts and runs great on the first load of the day but on the second load if you don't idle it over 1300 the stop engine light comes on and it stalls. I ran the cruise switch codes and got 6-2.

All levels are good. All gauges read normal but we do not have a fuel pressure gauge. It's starts rught up again with no excessive turning over.

    Any help is appreciated.

If it starts right back up with no problems you wouldn't think it would be fuel related? I could be wrong too.

I had this happen on my mechanical motor once before. I had an injector go bad and it dumped enough fuel into the oil that it thinned it out enough to where when it would come down from a high idle it would just stall.

The engine is shutting down because code 62 is Low Coolant Level. The ECM is evidently programmed to Shutdown whenever it sees a unsafe operating condition and is trying to keep itself from immediate self- destruction.

Eiher you have a faulty sensor, wiring to the sensor or you need to add coolant. If it's the later, hopefully you haven't cracked a head yet
