My truck is blowing enough steam out of the vent tube so that it drips almost as much as the a/c condensation.
Last Friday night the hose that goes from the block to the air compressor and dumped all the water. I heard the engine fan come on at 210 degrees so I killed the motor and coasted as far as I could. It never got any hotter than that, so I would think sleeves.

Now I have all the coolant hoses and filter changed and now it is steaming like a freight train through the vent tube out of the valve cover and out of the oil fill tube if it is removed while running.

I took the oil cooler off today to take it to cat to have them test it.

No visible oil in water (milk) just steam for now.

If there is any other ideas I am open for them. Thanks in advance.

The truck is a international 8100, with 420K miles.

Don't forget it could be the air compressor, if it's the original one, it's about time for it to break. Could be as simple as a leaking air compressor head gasket.

The water supply was cut off to the compressor for about 2 hrs. I will check that next.

    Thanks

Oil cooler was toast. I could turn the veins by finger. It when all at once, the last used oil analysis was good.

Turns out the water pump was toast. I told my boss what you had said before we sent it off for an in-frame. You saved us a crap load of money and every much appreciated.

We also are getting the main and rod bearings done because the water has been in there for a week.

    123456 Thanks this.

try extending the crankcase breather hose further beneath the cab. I have a customer with a high mileage mack engine that the fumes made him feel sick. I extended the breather hose behind the cab using a 1 inch diameter tube. Make sure the tube is angled down to allow any oil to drain.
