Check engine light came on. Stays on for seven seconds and goes off. No loss in power. Any ideas.

You can get the flash code out of the ECM. Turn your ignition key to the on position. Leave the Cruise Control switch in the OFF position. Hold your SET button on the cruise control to the SET position for 3 seconds. Once you release the SET switch the Check Engine Light will begin to flash. Count the flashes, there will be a slight pause between the flashes
