Appointment Thursday at Wayne cat in Louisville Kentucky
-
my friend has a bxs and he is getting 45 pounds of boost
-
When my bxs was a 475 1850 I got 45-47 psi. Now that its a 550 with the heavy haul it will go to 60.
-
I asked a buddy and he gets about 45 lbs of boost.
-
when my MXS lost power and was a laggy pig it ended up being 2 junk turbos due to an exhaust sleeve. If it ends up being the same problem you can have yours rebuilt rather than buying new ones.
It could also be a cracked bellow but with the amount of boost your losing I would think you could hear that, I know I could.
On a side note with the turbine wheels both chewed up and the PDI Stage 1 tune.....it ran like it did stock without the tune. So I can only imagine what a pig it is with a stock ECM with low boost. -
I wish those bellows were made out of a little heavier gauge metal. I got one that has a little crack in it. Atleast its the easiest one to replace.
-
Yea my turbos are fine they are thinking its something to do with fuel go in Thursday they going to put it on dyno and everything and try to figure out what's going on with it we will see Thursday!!

MXS 475 I drive will make about 42 pulling a grade in 7th direct. So I would say CAC leaking maybe the tubes for it or something in the fuel system.
