C15 acert bxs problem!!!!

    My stock 475/1650 BXS made 45 pounds and with the PDI tune made 60 plus...

    i just went thru a wierd thing some of you should also chk,i just had mine drop boost down to 20 to 35 psi on the gauge,figured the worst,chk high press t bo,ok tested air top air small leak but acceptable put 25 psi shop air in,nothing registerd on the boost gauge in cab,turned out to be the little brass fitting out of the block that has a filter built into it,pete and kenworth use this filter, now back to normal,58 t0 60 psi i do have tuning tho. when 475 ,40 to 45psi,sucked,lol....

    what brass fitting are you talking about? the one for the boost line?

    yes,boost line,to the gauge,check it.....your boost might not be as low as you think

    Mine goes only a little above 20 there's a leak somewhere cause the turbos are all smoked took it to a shop the mechanic said that smoke Comes from the manifold gaskets.

    My 475/1850 make 40-45 lbs in the heat 50-55 in the winter. DO NOT go to PDI or PP until you resolve this, it will only make it worse. once you have your mechanicals in order get a hold of Mr. Haney on this forum, he will fix you right up.
