    hi all,

I have a 08 KW T600 and I need to replace the low beams on both headlights

I do not want to go to the Kw dealer. Does anyone know what the bulb number is for a auto parts store. If not I will just remove one and take it in and match it up.

    The brighter the better

Thanks in advance for the help

Its an H11. if its a halogen that is. D2S if it is an HID. PIAA makes a great replacement for the H11, 15211 for the pair pack.

Many auto part stores can look up basic truck parts.

Don't touch the glass of the bulb. Oil from your skin will boil causing the bulb yo burn out quickly.

you can replace H11 with D2R only. If you use D2S in reflector type headlamp it is a big glare issue!

    H11 is 55WT halogen.

    Brighter - HID only

Just be careful, use only brand name premium bulbs, GE, Sylvania etc. Anything that draws more than 55watts will start tripping breakers, blinking lights, melting wires, fire etc. I only recommend PIAA for 'over-wattage' bulbs, they produce a much better light while only drawing stock wattage. And in fact I have found that their lowest price offering has the whitest light, my personal favorite. Just my 2 cents!

100 wt bulbs require 20A relays and rewiring with 1.5-2 mm2 wires

I dont know if you can get these where you are Pablo http://piaa.com/Bulbs/Bulbs-9000.html, they also have alot more available out of Japan that we can only get by mail order. No relays needed, only stock wattage, no re-wiring needed.
