CAT guru quation

There are two Freightliners with CAT engines.

Old is '01 with C12, other is '08 with C13 DPF.

'08 is junk engine now. Bad filter body and engine burns oil.

The idea is to swap engines. Any tips, any hiddent traps...?

any help would be greatly appreciated....!
