Hi, how would I remove the headliner in a 2005 379 peterbilt? it is leaking water into the cab from above, there are no visible cracks in the rooftop, so he have to remove the headliner to see whats going on there. Got some of the edges removed, unsure of how the little "buttons" are attached, to finish the removal. Thank you in advance for the help!

There are a couple types of those buttons. Most just pull straight out and are reusable. Some have a button in the middle that spreads out the inside of the button. Pull that out before you remove the button.

before you go to the trouble, have you sealed all the clearance lights, air horns, antenna, etc up there? the 379's are known to leak around the light bases on the cab.

i had a leak on my 06 w9. i thought it was the joint between the cab and the sleeper. i resealed that with silicone but i still had a leak. i saw a guy post on another thread to check the lights on top of the bunk. i did and resealed under them and so far so good but no leaks...so yea check ur cab lights and horn and stuff on the roof before tearing down the headliner...
