36" KW Flattop

Found a used KW 36" Flattop old school sleeper i can get for about $300. I haven't seen much of it, just one picture. The interior is supposedly poor but thats not what I am looking for, just looking for straight tin work and thats what this one has. These seem to go fast and for plenty of money, does this seem like an okay deal or should I hold off. Im in no rush.

Also planning on cutting out the back of the cab and the front of this sleeper to give enough room to recline the seats back into the sleeper but still retain the seperate sleeper/cab look (like a unibuilt pete). Anybody else done this? Do they sell the sleeper gaskets buy the foot or are they all pre-cut?
