anything aftermarket is just as good as the original may not last as long but the price is worth the risk most stuff is just the name alone makes the price go up. I recently got 4 new batteries 60$ a piece and the ones freightliner uses were 125$ never heard of these batteries but they work better than the factory ones.

Most all of that stuff is what they call "Global" Which means it can be made and supplied from anywhere in the world. Very few parts are manufactured in the USA, so buy the cheap one and save your money, they are all the same anyway.

AD-9 is old design dryer of cap held with bolts design. they are still in use, reliable enought, but not of pit stop design, lke new with screw on element.

Really old school dryer, as I remember this type was designed by Knorr Bremse in 70-s.

so I like newer (made by Bendix-Knorr, Wabco, Haldex and other....)

It is amazing, but I saw it on '03 Freightliner

new trucks got air dryers combined with four way valve, electronic air pressure senders. I'd say this type is the best, becouse no tank filling and protection valves are required. Mercedes use these valves from 90-s. Some of them were not of so good design, lke 2002-2005 Renault Magnum Knorr valve was impossible to rebuild.

Now Wabco, Haldex and Bendix-Knorr provide fully electronic air processing units, but IMO, too expencive solution and can be fixed with skilled technicians.... So I'd avoid electronic dryers. And if it is possible to change with old style on MAN TGA/TGX, Volvo FH and other we cant use old style dryers on new renault trucks
