I'm not sure about how much they weigh but I do know someone who has one and he says he can only haul about 41,000 lbs

My Friend drives for Reliable carriers and his truck has a 126" sleeper and the truck weighs 27,000 lbs.

Wouldn't 100'+ sleepers make for a pain to maneuver? What's the turning radius on those Rhode Island?

If you get into a Freightliner Century with the 70" (that's length from the back of the seats to the back wall of the sleeper adjacent to the catwalk) condo sleeper, you'll be fine. My step dad is 6' and managed to survive in a 36" flat top sleeper. Problem you might have the most is leg room behind the wheel, but since I'm only 5'7" I'll let someone who's taller and experienced handle this one.

I would think this would limit you on who you could lease to or haul for . I think it would take a country mile to turn one,but it would be nice for layovers .

The vast majority of these "super-sleepers" are leased onto moving companies and mostly do conventions and trade shows. Some also haul for specialty auto transport companies delivering collectible cars to car collectors (imagine that, a car collector getting a collectible car :toothy10: ). I've seen some pulling flat beds or step-decks. The point being you won't see many, if any, of these trucks pulling a dry van or reefer and trying to back into a dock in an old warehouse on the east coast.

I think the outside measurement would be 8' 6", factor in the thickness of the sides and interior padding on the walls and the interior dimensions will shrink from that.
