Hi, I know this is an old thread, but did you happen to ever figure out what was causing this problem? I'm currently have the exact same problem and have already repaired all of the exact same things you listed. I'm at my wits end, any input would be greatly appreciated!

I have an International Prostar with a Maxxforce. The exhaust temp light will come on for a few while idleing. It just started nlowing white smoke while initial accelerstion then it stops.

I have this same issue. I have a 2015 Cummins isx and it blows white smoke out of the top on cold mornings and I also burn oil and add a gallon every 5000-7000 miles. I have a bypass filter in the crankcase filter and that’s helped reduce high crankcase pressure. You could have some blow by issues. I also have some milky white substance on the underneath of my oil cap. Check to see if you have any buildup there or the crankcase filter. If so you likely have a coolant leak into the engine. The oil burning is from the pistons needing to be redone. I’m am going to take mine to the shop in about 4-8 weeks to have engine redone(inframe) and checked for egr leak or head gasket leak to solve precipitation buildup and white smoke.

All of my trucks experienced white at 10 degrees or colder. but particularly between 5 below and 10 above.

This was long before today's emissions.
