How to warm up frozen truck....

    If home, I'd plug in block heater, if on road, I'd keep the APU running. From what I have heard cold starts don't damage engine as long as you let it idle to warmth. (not operating temp, but warmer then -20) Reeving it could break something.

    yep, truck like a casket... ouh, really I know some situations when driver died in sleeper. Some drivers use propane hobs in cab for cooking and when they are tired they may asleep and die when hobs burn all oxigen in cab ore when fire dims and goes out and cab fills with LPG....

    -10F is nothing. If it wouldn't have started in -10F it's not worthy a life.
    It's when temperatures drop below -30F things start to happen. When you loose up to 80% of the battery capacity you have when it's 50F, oil is like sirup and so on. It's a hell just to get the starter motor to turn . It's then it shows what works and what's just crap
