Cummins isx fault codes defined

If the light came on after having the filters changed first thing I would check is the plug and wires at the sensor. You have a wiring problem not a filter problem.

 

Cleaned plug and connection with contact cleaner, drove 10 minutes and light went out. Sometimes lady luck smiles on us! Still going to replace filter with Napa sooner than later.

 

I am getting this code on a couple of my trucks that both have an ISX engine in them. But i cannot find any information on why i would be getting this. Engine #1 (MID 128) reports Engine Automatic Start Failed (Engine) (SID 124) is Failure mode not identifiable (FMI 11)

 

Someone programmed the engine ecu wrong. It's programmed to autostart and you probably don't have auto start.

This is basically a fault in your throttle pedal circuit. ECM is seeing voltage too high in the 5 volt supply circuit. Normally the ECM supplies the pedal with 5 volts but the ECM is detecting a higher voltage likely due from a short circuit with another wire that is probably 12 volts. This is usually on the OEM side, and not inside the Cummins harness.

Hey guys new here. Thanks in advance for the help. Have a 2010 pete 386 with cummins. The dash screen said current sensor fault. Can't find anything on the web.
