2005 Volvo d12 with code M128 PID94 FMI7 "Mechanical Fuel delivery" Help!!!!

I had one when I disconnected fuel lines of the fuel/water separator to check if there was any air coming in.. I connected them and the code stayed on for a little while (2 hrs or so) then disappeared

im not sure about exact M128 PID94 FMI7 code but mine was Mechanical Fuel Delivery too for sure

 

i had this issue same ecu code and i had to replace fuel pump and accesory drive..

 

Fuel pressure sensor code:
FMI 7 - Will set if fuel pressure drops.
Possible Causes: Clogged fuel filter, Fuel leaking from fuel line or fitting, Poor fuel pump pressure.

 

FMI7 stands for mechanical fault

 

Now does anyone knows what is SID281

 

It actually stands for current low or open. But PTT states it will set the code for pressure drop.

 

What's the MID ?

The new fuel pump fixed the issue.
