Actually I am seriously considering the T680 in the next year. Under the hood no ideal choice, but I think the only real one is Cummins......And some hope, by the time, when my old Detroit 60 will give up, they will work out most of the bugs.

This is off topic, but on steer axle I put only Michelin. A tried others, but nothing can come close.

KW is for me inside and out. Not the engine and tranny though.

i thought the T700 replaced the T2000 and the 579 replaced the 386??
either way i don't care for them -
As for now they did not cancel the production of the 386 either. If I understood well. I am not sure what is their plan, but for now it seems they try make them the "flagships" trucks. They are very nice. My choice is the KW T680, no question, but in the real life the 579 looks better than on the picture, and the 680 a little bit less attractive. But really just your personal taste will tell. Only the wrap is different. Even the center part of the dash is the same. So no real argument here.

My guess is these will be 2 tweener models. There are lots of folks that like the space between the seats of a Freightshaker or Volvo that would like to be in a KW or Pete, but don't like the narrow standard cabs, and others that don't like the full wide aero look of the 700 or 587, so these 2 new ones are somewhere in the middle.
