battery discharge protection system

The light for the battery discharge protection system is flashing on my truck and I was wondering if anyone would have some clues as to why or refer me to a different thread if it's already been answered. The truck is a 1999 Pete 379. Thanks.

There is a switch down in the drivers kick panel, low voltage dis-connect. Not sure what the Pete p/n is.
