Steering shaft

    I have a 2005 4300 dt466. Steering shaft is loose( piece from pitman arm to firewall) are there u bolts or a bearing that can be replaced to tighten it or do I need a new steering shaft?

    yes the U-joints are in plain sight,one at each end. It also has a "slip-shaft" that will wear out also. My '05 KW's slip-shaft was sealed,(could not grease it) had to replace the whole shaft.
