After 4 of being off hours my truck wont start. I noticed the fuel wasn't staying in the bowl so i replaced the fuel filter but it didn't stop it? Any idea of what it is?

What kind of truck/engine? The fuel can be siphoning back to the tanks or pressurized back to the tanks.

Is that a Davco filter unit? If it is, then there is a check valve in the input side that keeps fuel in the bowl when off. That sometimes needs to be replaced. See page 17 of this....

I have seen the check valve in the ecm cooling plate cause this, as well as the fuel tank shut off taps on top of the transmission on the freightliners. If this started after a fuel filter replacement make sure the o ring is not misplaced on davco/fuel pro style primary filter.

    hope this helps
