I run 25k on my oil, analysis shows I can go longer. Cummins recommends that for my service so thats what I stick with.

Another easy check is to smell the oil to check for coolant smell and check the oil cap while motor is hot for moisture (coolant) on bottom of oil cap that is a sign of coolant in oil.
My point is to not to except just one oil analysis and get a 2nd opinion. -
Never trust 1 oil analysis, Speedco kept telling me I had antifreeze in my oil went to Cummins and found out it was the MotorKote oil additive.I was told as long as the glycol # in acceptable don't worry about it.

Excellent to hear, thank you all for the replies. They were very helpful. I will definitely be getting an analysis done somewhere else to compare.

Can a bad EGR cooler cause the oil pressure to drop?

Replace the EGR cooler. They leak all the time.

Also you should buy a cooling system pressure tester. Pump your cooling system up and see if it holds pressure. If the pressure bleeds off then check your tester first. If your tester is not leaking then pressure up agin and look for leaks. If your losing pressure and you dont see leaks then your bleeding pressure off somewhere like the head or EGR cooler. I see blown head gaskets and leaking egr coolers all the time. Its really common problem. Good way to know your leaking at the head gasket or cylinder head is if you pressure up that cooling system and you hydrolock the motor.
