Never bought them. Applied for the Advantage program May 2nd, just got approved last week. Suppose to be mailing out the login info for pricing etc. So I will be interested to see how Cowpie gets along with his.
Where to buy glider kits, engine, etc.

I have given consideration to the Goodyear G392 SSD's also. Will see how these XDN2's hold up in my operation. If they give me ho hum performance, then I will probably give the 392's a try.

I did not take the time to read all the responses to this topic, but I have a question.......I wonder if there is such a thing as ordering a new truck, lets say a W-900L with just about all the things that come on a truck, except the engine, radiator, charge air cooler, and exhaust. I guess you could call that a rolling glider, but with the tranny included from the factory and the only thing missing is an engine, did not know this is possible. Thanks for any advice.

You need to have 2 of the 3 things missing, engine, transmission, rear axles. Rolling gliders some with the rear axles and you need to put in the engine and transmission. With the rolling glider it does some with the radiator and charge air cooler ect. Just the motor is missing. No matter how you order a glider it will not come with the transmission. -
Yeah, all rolling gliders will be minus the engine and tranny. You order it for the engine you plan on putting in it so that the glider comes with all the necessary stuff to hook that engine into the truck..... wiring harness, radiator and cooling system plumbing, CAC, etc. You could also leave off the rears, but most people go ahead and spec new rears. You just have to provide engine, tranny, driveshafts and the components to hook these all together. And of that stuff, you can get factory remanned engines and trannies and use new parts to hook that all up.

I have been working with my dealer by email 2-3 times a week for the most part for about 3 months now. I was not going to order till December but it sounds like I might be putting in the order before the end of Sept because they are doing a flat rate $4000.00 price increase.
My rolling glider cost is going to be about $98,000.00
18 SPD-Trans $15,050.00
Reman CAT-16 $35,810.00
Drive line $3,500.00
Clutch/Batteries $1200.00
Slush fun $3000.00
Labor $6000.00
-$6,600.00 engine core
-$3,300.00 Trans core
That is what we are at for number now, hope this helps you out. This is a Western Star 4900FA 68in sleeper loaded with 14,700 fronts and 46,000 full locking rears.VisionLogistics Thanks this. -
