Of course it has to be a Friday night of a long holiday weekend. kms

On the trailer, think I'm gonna do any damage if I put on say 1500 before getting it fixed Tuesday?

Fill it with STP oil treatment and it will live. Check the vent hole in the fill plug, make sure it's open and not building pressure in the hub.

Alright thanks. I know it's less than an hour fix, but nothing will be open til Tuesday. I don't have any of these nice truck stops with repair shops that are open 24/7 around here. Just pisses me off something like this can never happen on a weekday

im not even kidding. in my 2 and half years driving, i would say about 90% of my problems have come on a weekend. its really irritating. last friday i blew a hydraulic hose. that was easy enough to fix myself, without any tools besides a wrench, but there was no where to get a new hose til monday

you'd think there are plenty of drivers that drive way further with blown wheel seals that are to lazy to look under their truck and notice it for a few days anyways right?
