Need help on my Detroit 60 series 14L

    Need any assistance I can get here. I replaced my air compressor and the old one basically fell out after removing all the bolts. The new one did not fit properly and for the final 1/16 of an inch on tightening the unit "popped" two times before sealing. I guess I cracked the case/cover it attatched to and now I have a small oil leak on the left side of my engine and my air pressure reads about 130. My dump/purge is no longer working as it should. What would you gearheads recommend at this point???

    sounds like you have definatley made a boo boo with the mounting surphace,as for the air dryer side of things, maybe you have got the lines around the wrong way that go on the governer, or the governer is not set right, you need to investigate and make sure you haventt damaged the drive gear.
