Just wondering..My ISX 455HP is a 2008 w/DPF (no Liquid). When I shut the key off..sometimes it will run a few extra revolutions under power.?? I did take it for a tune up last week to cummins in De Pere,WI. They ran a full ECM chk and did a tune up and found nothing unusual or out of whack. It's almost like it has a few extra drops of fuel in a cylinder or two. Any body have this ?:biggrin_25510:

sounds to me like you have a injector leaking or injector nozzle problem.

Fuel shutdown solenoid disc is sticking or the rubber in the center of the disc is worn or cut and allowing fuel to slip past.

Mucho Gracious HeavyD That's the best explanation since I just had it all checked out and the injectors are 100% ok...I'll be going to cummins to replace the solenoid..... Thank you a bunch !

The solenoid is just one part. The disc isn't included with a new solenoid. Chances are the disc is just dirty and needs a good cleaning. Just let them know what is happening and they will check it out.
