I have two 06' C-13 engines one has been using 1gal of oil per 1,000 miles the other about half of that. The rigs have about 750,000 miles and have no engine work done currently. The blow by tube does not appear to have any abnormal oil flow. The trucks seem to run just fine and do not have any issues other than this oil CONSUMTION problem. Any ideas?

Have also seen the turbo leak oil thru the exhaust. It burns it up and is hard to tell until it gets really bad then usually a turbo goes down. You could probably pull the exhaust pipe and maybe see some signs of oil if its a problem. We have 12 C-13 in the fleet and have seen this happen a few times.
