What more can be said...cummins continues with hit and miss,as in the past...know some friends that got up to over milion miles on the isx and others changed the engine entirely at 600k... The problem now is all the ATS system/DPF/DEF....as u said so many things that can go wrong....

At 25,000 miles still running good. (Knock-knock-knock) Sometimes I have a check engine light, code:1569, what is come and go on its own. My average fuel economy up to date is 8.3. Now I try to fix the small things at the dealership. It is a real hassle. I think pretty soon I have to start a new topic about this "number 1" customer service.
-
Small things...like wich ones????? Pls develop...did u find what 1569 code is related with?

This thread is scary.
I got a brand new 2009 Western Star last month from a dealer in Washington. Those guys couldn't do enough to make me happy, even at the bargain price I got the truck for. Nothing was too much to ask, and if anything pops up, they are there for me right away, even down to pricing up other stuff for the rig etc.
Thinking maybe KW dealers are going the way of Freightliner dealers? Big fleet = big attention, small fleet = good luck, unless you know the shop/guys/etc. I am seeing more and more KW's in the bigger company fleets....

Lawyer time bud, lawyer time.
Speak to a few lawyers, then go rent a truck to make some money with.
I would keep Paccar/finance company in the loop, but the lawyer may say something different.
1st priority, get what you paid for.
2nd priority, dont screw your credit up
3rd priority, get what you can out of KW/Cummins. The way you have been treated is totally out of order.
MartinOram Thanks this.
