i have air tabs and i avg over 7.... is that the only thing i've done to save fuel no...
if you run 100,000 miles a year at 6 mpg you'll use 16,666.7 gl of fuel.. i run that same at 7 mpg and use 14,285.7 gl if we get paid the same i will make the same but at the end if the year i will have a extra (at 4.00 a gl) 9.524 in my pocket that i didn't have to spend on fuel...
cheap freight has nothing to do with it
between my fsc and fuel mileage i went 7 months last that i didn't spend ANY MONEY on fuel..

I would install them again because they are worth it for stability and keeping the mirrors clean.russellkanning Thanks this. -
Installed according to instructions on an old 88 Honda Accord I used to drive, went from a consistent 30 mpg to consistent 32 mpg on my 17 mile rural hwy commute. On some trks & trls they may look out of place, others they blend in pretty well, can be painted if desired. Maybe a few of us could go to their website and request chrome airtabs. I believe it's Airtab.com.

(BTW, a Summit Racing sticker is worth 150 rwhp and a Alpine sticker is worth 300 watts.)
But seriously, I would like to see a video of a truck in a wind tunnel with and without the air tabs. -
Try google or youtube. I live in town now, so Airtabs wouldn't really help my Civic like they did my Accord when I lived in the country. Therefore my Civic is pretty much stock.

Ha, just noticed, I have 140 front wheel horsepower, if I add a Summit sticker I can have 4wd?
Hammer166 Thanks this. -

Bet they would help on a travel trailer too. Something to remember

each of us would make more money if we drove 45mph (i believe that is the optimum fuel mileage for many trucks), but at what cost, though it is legal in most places, there is a point where you have to decide how far to draw the line
some will go as far as to drive 60mph everywhere, others will just watch their shifting, others will get aerodynamic mudflaps, we are all not the same
