Thinking of ordering some airtabs to put on my truck. Do they really work or are they homogenized snake oil and distilled crocodile tears like the turbo3000 and Eco-taz?
Airtabs - do they work?

we love them..... will they save you fuel yes but not much....maybe 3-5 months for roi.... what they do well is you will feel the truck ride better in the wind.. cab doesn't move around as much and in the rain you can see MUCH better in your mirrors... pulling a van the spray from your drives will stay down
btw you can get them in any color you want as long as you want black or white..... but they can be painted... takes about 2hr's to install them on the truck... just peel and stick... we've had them on for 2 years and havn't lost 1Jeff Bliem Thanks this. -
I think these would be great if they improve visibility in the rain! I cant see stuff all in my mirrors when its raining. I went on their website and the tech stuff makes sense, but DO they work in the real world? And how much are they selling them for?

they are 240.00 to do a truck.... both sides and roof..
they are great in the rain.... the spray from your drives comes up to the bottom of the trailer and STOPS.. you know THAT DIRT LINE you see on trailers going up the side and back down that have been in bad weather.....?? you don't see it on trucks that have air tabs because the air flow is smooth going from the sleeper to the trailer so the spray can't come up.... -
Thanks, it's good to find out info from a forum member. Will have to order a set.Adamturbo Thanks this. -

Are they advertised as "spray reducers and mirror stay cleaners" or as a mpg improving device? If they are advertised to increase the aerodynamics while reducing fuel consumption and all they do is reduce spray in the mirrors then it sounds like they fail miserably at their intended purpose.
