I have a 2009 Volvo VNL670 with a Cummings engine that is throwing engine faults. I have only had the truck for about a month. I'm hoping that they are some easy fixes. Or at the very least nothing serious.

That is what shows on the idiot screen under diagnostics. I clear them and they come back a short time later.
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. If you need any more info please let me know.

the boost pressure is probably a bad sensor climate unit i would guess is loose wire on the data link just check all the connections a little corrosion or loose pin will give u that

Do you know where I would start looking for the connections/loose pins? I'm not totally stupid I know how to do minor repairs. However a little nudge in the right direction, as far as where to start looking, would be appreciated.

does this new truck to you have a Qualcomm cable hanging off the back of the cab not attached to anything if the end of the cable gets corrosion in it will cause those problems

I will have to get up there and check because I do have the Qualcomm cable but no Qualcomm. There is no way of getting rid of corrosion in a wire except for replacing it. As in this case correct?

U can clean with wd40 and cover with zip lock bag also if they look good would not hut to spay and cove to stop problems later and other wires would be under bunk for rear heater

Cut the old Qualcomm cable connection and carefully wrap/waterproof each wire so they do not touch anything and reset and retest.

The company I am leasing too is talking about requiring a Qualcomm. Wouldn't that be a really bad idea too cut the cable or cost me even more to have it installed later??

I have a friend with 06 that had the same problem as soon as I shook that cable the codes cleared and cleaned connector and wrapped in a ziplock like the other poster said. at his last oil change our mechanic cut the wires to the QUALCOMM where they connect under the dash and that issue will never return

I've had the same issue on a few trucks change you're boost sesor all the spot plugs it up and it can't get a valid reading you're fuel is probably down the drain to I think the sensor is less the $100 so it should be an easy and cheap fix.
