We recently did an in frame on my 1mm 600 cat and installed a c-18 1000 HP cam and now I'm having way more pyro heat than I expected. I do have a pdi manifold and Pittsburg power turbo with a blanket. I pull 145000#. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

How high is the pyro getting on a good hard pull?

You are going to need a bigger windmill. I ran mine with the cam and a Michigan stage 5 with no heating issues but I believe the Pittsburgh turbo is quite a bit smaller. The cam makes these run incredible but really steps up airflow and fuel. You will be rewarded with a nice fuel mileage increase with nice large free flowing turbo. If you still have stock injectors I believe Mr. Haney has a turbo he builds that would fit this power level.

    DanHumm Thanks this.

I can easily get 1100degrees but I do my best to stay below that so I'm always babysitting the pyro

I wondered about the injectors or the charger the injectors are still stock units

Are you running the stock 600 file? Do you have any other added fuel like the power box?

Yes it is a stock brakesaver file. I do have the power box but I can't really use it unless I'm empty because she runs so warm.

How much boost do you get without the box? You probably have turbo damage or a decent boost leak. A stock 600hp with 1000hp cam is not enough fuel to easily get 1100deg with the stock turbo nevermind pp turbo

B4 the can install it was about 40-46 lbs in a pull but since the can installation its about 32lbs in a pull when I had a friend at cat install the brakesaver file they checked the charger and the air charge cooler and all was good she does have a duralite cooler so I'm not sure what to think. The pop turbo is the direct replacement not the hole set conversion. This setup worked great with the stock can and the box on 3. But the thirst for more HP may not have been a good idea. Lol
