Diesel Mechanics pay is high everywhere now.Everything I read in the news they are in high demand.
South Fl is expensive to live,I just moved from West Palm,AND PAID ALOT TO REPAIR MY TRUCK,so can't imagine the pay being low at all.
Especially if you are certified for all the new electronics and emissions.SBdizel Thanks this. -
Housing costs is alot better than chicago in fort lauderdale, and around miami.

If you're going to live in South Florida you have to learn how to say, coño, dale, cojone and asere.
I'm in Portland right now, when I come back I'll ask around and will send you a PM.

South Beach? very expensive to live and no work as a diesel mechanic. Miami area is the cheapest place provably in the country to get work done on trucks, the same goes to buy truck parts and chrome stuff.
That doesn't mean you're not going to find a job at a truck stealer, pardon me, I meant a dealership, that will charge a lot more than the rest of the shops, but most shops in Meddley which is the trucking capital of south Florida are very cheap.
and yes you need to speak Español or at least it will help a lot and no we are not as hostile as many paint us to be, all to the contrary we are very friendly people. "Cubans". -
Miami(hialeah, medley)is cheap for Truckrepairs,my mechanic is very good he was before working for a shop for $11 hrs,now he have his own buisness
123456 Thanks this. -
Umm...seems I should've gone to Miami for my repairs? Lol
all I gotta say is you picked an excellent trade, and will have zero problems finding
a job anywhere in the country! As you progress, you will be in the drivers seat,no pun intended.
Every shop I go to these days say that can't get enough mechanics to fill their needs.
