Cummins "hexa fuel line kit". If dual fuel line is worth 25 hp, how much is this worth?

Quite possible but I don't know if it's worth it. That M11 is a full race engine, 1200+ hp, I believe that fuel line was only made to be sure that every cylinder runs balanced to each other. Most racers use normal dual fuel line and they work fine. But that hexa line looks "cool" and it doesn't hurt either.

Yes, it's M11 converted to mechanical. It's in Finland. A yellow cab over Sisu. http://www.racetrucksfinland.fi/

I think you are both wrong and right,,,It depends on the cummins engine you are talking about a 5.9l 12 valve in a Dodge times on the injection pump,,,, a 855 Big Cam injection timing is set with the cam shaft follower boxes on side of block by changing gasket thickness [of course that takes into account that the top stop injectors are set correctly]

You wont keep a Big Cam very long if your looking for too much horse power, a KTA was 1150 Cubic Inch and they couldnt stand 900hp, the key to turning a big cam up is all in the PT pump, the drill the ball out of the throttle shaft and there is a screw in it, turn it out like you are loosing it up, a quarter turn at a time, so you dont just screw it way out and blow the motor up, do a quarter turn and see what you got, also behind the plate there is another screw above the throttle shaft, it turns out too, its the aneroid, about 1 full turn will have it all way open, then on the back of the pump there is a peice that has four bolts in it, you take those bolts out and there is a spring, shims, and a button, change that button, to a lower number to increase fuel rate, and add shims to increase rpms and when you get done with all that you will have one bad machine if you do it right, or you will have a see through block in just a little while if you do it wrong!

Mountainmover, KB3MMX and 1989 Pete Thank this.
