The pins on the fifth wheel will not lock when the fifth wheel sliding coil is hooked up but when taking the sliding coil off then the pins will lock. So I left sliding coil off and put a cringe in it with tape then the pins locked but now my outside drive tires by the mud flaps are spinning (fishtailing). But the first set of drives and fronts are pulling regular. Just got started as a o/o and trying to save money. What to do?
1990 Kenworth- fifth wheel/sliding coil issues PLS HELP!!!! Breakdown!!!

sounds like to me his fifth wheel release valve is stuck open and his outside rear duals are about to fall off. so maybe tighten the lug nuts and replace the valve.

Ok, so you can't get the air to the fifth wheel line to stop, the rear drive tires are spinning.
Look on your dash for the switches to the power divider and the fifth wheel slide -
Hope nobody gets hurt while he tries to save money [cringe].

I think anyone who uses SEVEN (!!!!!!!) in a post heading... needs to find a less "stressful" career.

Is your drivers seat a milk crate or apple crate?
Just wrap it in duct tape and park the truck -
Thanks guys! Figured out what it was!!!

Was it loose muffler bearings? You need a 9/16 left handed pipewrench to tighten em n that will completely solve yer fishtailing and 5th wheel issues.
