Which Jake is Stage 1 or 2 or 3 ect on C-15 Cat

    I have a freind with A C-15 Cat in a Peterbuilt and Stage 1 of the Jake has quit. Stage 2 & 3 work but with 2 & # on its still only jaking on 4 Cylinders. Just need to know which is the #1 bank so he can pull the right Valve cover the 1st time.

    Has he diagnosed the wiring all the way from the switch at the dash yet? It could just be the dash switch malfunctioning...n might save ya a valve cover gasket.

    I think so. He is fairly certain his problem is under a cover but wanted to make sure to pull the correct one first.

    you can run a hot wire from alternator and energize the jake solenoid at idle to see if the solenoid is good.
