DOC is diesel oxidation catalyst. Its right next to the DPF filter. Loosing that much coolant, surely you have checked the EGR cooler right?

Did you reset your injector? That will cause smoke if it's overfueling.

    Hello,
Okay, searched the thread for an error related to "rifle oil pressure". Having found none, I'll ask. What is it? I had a shop put on an external bypass filter on a Cummins ISX. The idea being keep oil cleaner and longer. So, 200 miles out, unloaded, no issues. 100 miles after loading (about a 35000 lb load), I get an alarm and error code indicating low rifle oil pressure. Limp into shop (I assume that the error derated the engine). This is all second hand from my driver. Anyway, shop bypasses the bypass (basically disconnect it), all is well with oil pressure and he is on his way. What would be the "correct" connection points for such a filter? This one takes oil from a port near spin on filter and returns it near port around dipstick. Now driver says we have some intermittent power (loss of power issue) - but he has made it from roughly Indianapolis to Sacramento - so can't be that bad.

Re oil pressure loss. I think this has to do with the installation. The Bypass lines are installed backwards.
