I'm wondering has anyone tried any of these products and did you see any performance increases by doing so ? I'm willing to try anything that will increase my fuel economy with at decent ROI .

Ive heard that wrapping the manifold pipes with header wrap and wrapping the last 2ft or so of the exhaust will increase fuel mileage by retaining heat

    any insight

Drop the speed and watch your boost! If you are going over a over pass with the cruise control on, take it off and glide over it! Also the scangauge outfit is a good way! There are guys on here that are running them and they make it better on their MPG. I wish you well.

Turbo blanket defiantly work to lower EGT which in turn improves fuel economy, exhaust wrap helps but its extremely marginal and really just a waste of time.

I have two cats wrapped like you are talking about. We run pittsburgh manifolds on both. Changed manifold and wrapped them both at the same time. If it helped power I can't really tell. Same for mpg, what we did notice is the inside cab temp got a little better but we did it in July. Crazy as this sounds the pyro runs a little cooler on both, and you can see a big difference under the hood as far as heat stress it helped a there for sure. If I had to pull mine yea I would rewrap it just because under hood temps. But I wouldn't pull it to wrap it.

Yes EGT means exhaust gas temperature. It really takes one to be pumped up to see gains.
