air bubbles

    Hi I have a 06 cat acert I have noticed small amounts of air bubbles in the overflow reservoir at start up when sitting for a long time in this cold weather when wormed up all good no coolant loss it sat for a week lost all air do to the cold and leaked out and I went to start it up that is when I noticed the air bubbles is this normal

    Just get an oil sample on next change and make sure no collant is getting in oil. As long as your temps stay ok i wouldn't see a problem. Did you recently change collant and its just bleading out the bubbles? Change a heater core, or anything else on the coolant loop? Install an APU?
