Would someone tell me what the valve settings are for the 6NZ, or point me to a thread on how to set the valves, injectors, pac-brake. I didn't have any luck with the search bar. I'm going to rebuild the brakes and would like to run the rack at the same time. My wife bought the injector height tool off ebay, so I should have it by the time I get home. I'm hoping someone knows which side of the specs to lean to, either tight or loose. I know it makes a difference, based on who has done it for me in the past, it affects MPG, EGT, and how smooth the engine runs. I appreciate any help, thank you.

I went with the Cat spec's:

    .015" Intake
    .030" Exhaust
    3.07" Injector

I have Jake Brakes so I'm not sure what the Pac-Brake adjustments are.

Not sure about going away from the Cat spec's, some other guys have played with that I'm sure!!

go with the cat specs. on the valves. the injectors I like using a dial slide gauge. it is more accurate than the cat tool especially with these callused hands!

Well after digging through some threads it looks like guys are staying at spec or .002 tighter on the valves and between the steps or at the 2nd step on the injector height tool. I read a thread once about the brake setting, but haven't found it, to read it again.

Been told that the jakes adjustment nut must be loose before adjusting the exhaust valves. I usually have my CAT guru do mine.
