1150° is the max, before meltdown. But it SHOULD never get that high.

I've got mine where you stand in it it goes to 975 1000 deg then at the end of a hard pull you might see 1100 deg.

That seems high. I would try to keep it quite a bit lower. Mine seldom sees much over 600. That turbo will only handle the excessive heat for soo long. I think max is around 1300 for 3 min, but I wouldn't gamble. What your manifold pressure?
