ok guys last week my hi lo went out and it was stuck in high side....I could hear air coming out the slave valve on the side of the trans . took the back off the trans and got inside and needed a input gear and sync. while in the back so I call for the parts gasket and seal and o rings..got all the parts in replace all the parts orings timed the geares and back on the trans...crank truck and still have air coming out the slave valve..took the big lines off the trans used the air tanks to spray air in the ports where the lines go and trans goes from high to low so I say valve is bad..replace it today and same problem air blowing out so bad truck cant even build air pressure...I am at a lost on what it could be ..ive changed all the parts that I could think would cause the problems..before I changed the valve the truck was in the low side and wouldn't come out when the problem started it was in the high side and wouldn't come out..now im in the low side again and want come out...if I could get it in the high side I could get it to my trans man which is 2hrs away....any help would be great...
the reason I change the parts I did is my freightliner had the same problem a few years back changed the pistons and orings and valve ben fine every since..

Did you inspect the pin or some call it a plunger behind the slave valve? That small pin is what actually tells the valve to send air to the range cylinders to go back and fourth to high and low. Heres a break down of your trans.
