09 kenworth t660 truck wont shut off when i pull the key out, and the dash board lights stay on, also disconected the ignition swicth and the truck was still running..any ideas of what could be the problem?

I'm sure the key is fine. It's more likely the switch or the ignition relay. Your fuse panel will be behind the clutch pedal. You'll find that relay in there... don't remember which row offhand, but they have a diagram on the cover.

Sorry to be a ######## (it's in my nature), but it's better then a truck that won't start.

If it's and isx it's the fuel shut off solenoid you can shut it off by snuffing the engine out using the clutch put in a high gear and slowly let it out till it snuffs the motor out but that is hard on the clutch and driveline

when my truck would not turn off with key it was main ground at the starter that went to the battery.

Had one truck do that when the ground wire broke right beside the battery. Made it easy to find. Fixed it and, voila!, truck starts up and shuts down just fine.

My truck t680 kenworth 2014 paccar mx 13 .it won't shut off been at the kenworth dealer for 5 days
