Working on a '92 Western Star. It's located behind the right dash panel near the brake valves. It's doing a fine job leaking air.

Looks like a backyard repair gone wrong
-
An air actuator for heater controls maybe??.
-
-
A blend door then? You have air powered vent doors?
-
If it goes to nowere just remove it and plug the line. A door actuator that fell from its place is probably a safe guess
-
The blend doors do not go to the floor heater position, which happens to be the only setting where it doesn't leak. -
You can buy repair kit with new o/rings and spring to fix it so def. works
-
It's a blend door motor. I saw another one inside the dash, but it was encased in a sleeve. Might have to buy a new one. Those are rubber seals at the top that fit in a sleeve or cylinder. But I see nothing in the dash that it fits, but I did find the door that it operates.
