bouncing tach needle - 1998 T800

    Sometimes it works. Sometimes it just sits there at 600 rpm. Anyone had this?

    Have you adjusted the sensor at the bell housing.

    No. Would an out of adjustment situation cause an intermittent problem like I have?

    Yes or bad wiring to adjust the sensor loosen lock Down nut and screw sensor in until it stops this means you've reached the flywheel back it out a 1/4 turn -/+ tighen lock down nut Check for broken wires and loose connection sorry I took so long to answer
