I know the fuel use idling the larger otr trucks has been discussed before, but would anyone know where to fine gph specs on smaller engines like the M11 and below? Maybe even as small as the 4bt Cummins?

    Thanks.

My 3 cylinder Kubota on a Cummins Onan 7.5 kw generator uses about 1/4 gallon/hr. You can figure any fuel consumption by a formula found on Google for BHP/fuel consumption as diesels use a set amount to produce 1 HP.

Thanks. I found some of the formulas on a diesel forum but then they argued about turboed or not etc. But that is very acceptable on your generator. I wish I could find one of those engines by itself.
