just can't quite put my finger on it. pulling a heavy load yesterday and pyro started to go up 1150 deg. the most it will ever get is 900deg. at 1150 I would back out of it. and lost some boost 27 to 30lbs. checked all the possible things. turbo, cac, boot hoses, air filters ecm for codes, fuel pressure, nothing wrong. bobtailed home ran fine even produced boost 35 to 40lbs. what am I missing?

Not sure how hot it is where you're hauling, but I noticed yesterday at least 100 degrees hotter on the pyro due to the warmer day. BTW isn't 1150 kind of on the hot side? I always quit at 1000, although maybe if I took it over 1100 I could get my rings to seat.

was grossing 131000lbs. it was running that hot on flat ground! it would of got hotter but I backed out of it at 1150deg it was only about 78deg yesterday, it never gets above 900deg. today going across I-80 in pa I had to work it hard to see 900deg grossing 131000lbs. I pressure tested the cac checked turbo blades and so on. nothing! maybe when I fell a while back I bumped my head harder than I thought!:biggrin_2554:
