What is the difference between Wastegate and Non-Wastegated turbo? I "hear" it is beneficial to have a non waste gate turbo as opposed to one with a Wastegate, why?

really WG is Euro and EPA thing. Sometimes engine runs in mode when torque is lower than quantity of air that comes in cylinder becouse too fast turbo speed. Mixture goes lean and NOx emissions are over limits. From other side exaust temperature goes high and it may damage exaust valves.

Not when it comes to my MBN c-15. Many guys who run the mbn converted into 6nz, most run non wastegate turbo like Borg Warner. I don't experience on it yet but I'm planning to do it on my mbn.
